The valley of Baztan is a green valley, of Cantabrian climate, the widest municipality of Navarre, with 374 km2 that includes 15 villages and dozens of cottages in a environment built by meadows where the cattle grazes, crops and forests. There are many medieval palaces that decorate the localities from the valley, all of them are very beautiful. A valley where the roast lamb highlights, as well as beef, txuri ta beltz, mushrooms, cheese and custard. As regional festivity, the “Baztandarren Biltzarra” highlights in july, and the catle fair of Elizondo on the 17th of January. Good panormic lookout of the Valley is the “lookout of Baztan”. The guided visit that lets contemplate beautiful formations of stalactites and stalagmites and listen the whisper of the small river Urtxuma which runs inside the cave. The caves of Urdazubi/Urdax is linked by road or by a path with Zugarramuri that the history and the legend have linked it with the witchcraft. Besides, it is worth to highlight that in the East of Elizondo is the Natural Park of the Manor of Bertiz.

The Baroque Palace of Arizkunenea highlights, the town hall, the palace of Dature, the Viceroy´s house or the Santiago´s church.
